You can set and clear the Word wrap option. When this option is set, the portion of a long line that extends beyond the current width of the Code Editor window is displayed on the next line. When this option is cleared, for example, to facilitate the use of line numbering, you can scroll to the right to see the ends of long lines.

Note

1) The space between the last line of the body text (on a specific page) and the footnote separator varies from document to document. Sometimes Word will run lines right up to the footnote separator (even when the line spacing is double); other documents leave a gap above the separator where one or even two lines would fit. In the act of creating a document, you choose a template, and the styles on the template become available to you when you work on your document. The Hyphenation dialog box gives you more control over hyphenation in Word. For automatic hyphenation select the Automatically hyphenate document checkbox.; If you do not want to hyphenate words in uppercase letters, leave the Hyphenate Words in CAPS checkbox blank. Set the length of the Hyphenation zone. This value is the distance in inches between the end of the last complete word in a line. Microsoft Word has two different typing environments: text and math. To obtain the math environment, click on 'Equation' on the 'Insert' ribbon on Windows or Word for Mac '16, or in 'Document Elements' on Word for Mac '11. The keyboard shortcut is 'alt'+ '='. For a Mac system, the shortcut is control + '='.
