- 'The Shocker' is the debut album from Silkk the Shocker, who was then known as Silkk. It was released on August 20, 1996 on No Limit Records and was mainly p.
- Album Description. Genetic and artistic brethren to New Orleans' No Limit family (he is the younger brother of Master P and C-Murder), Silkk the Shocker (whose real name is Vyshonne Miller) was one of the label's best-selling artists.
- Silkk the Shocker rose to fame in the mid-late 1990s, after striking a deal with Priority, Silkk released his 1996 debut album The Shocker in August 1996 using the alias 'Silkk' and with beats from acclaimed producers such as Craig B and DJ Daryl. After changing his name to Silkk the Shocker, he went on to appear on numerous albums from TRU's Tru 2 da Game, Mia X's Unlady Like, and Mystikal's.

Charge It 2 Da Game debuted at #3 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums selling 245,000 copies in its 1st week.[2]
